"Democracy is Not for Sale" by The League of Women Voters Massachusetts


The League of Women Voters of Massachusetts is one of the most trusted non-partisan, grassroots organization in the Commonwealth, committed to influencing public policy through citizen education and advocacy. The League of Women Voters advocacy is based on stated positions on issues at the national, state and local levels, and are developed through member study and consensus.

Staying in tune with their stated positions, The League of Women Voters of Massachusetts will be hosting it's 3rd event, "Democracy is not for sale", addressing money in politics in Worcester on March 29th.

Spreading the word about the 28th Amendment, Jeff Clements will be speaking at this event about the work American Promise is doing to get money out of politics and about the National Citizen Uprising that has people across the nation pushing for change.  Jeff Clements is a constitutional lawyer, President of American Promise, and author of Corporations Are Not People: Reclaiming Democracy From Big Money & Global Corporations.
