Frances Moore Lappe, the founder of the Small Planet Institute, is the award-winning, best-selling author of nineteen books, from the classic Diet For A Small Planet to her latest, with Adam Eichen: Daring Democracy: Igniting Power, Meaning, and Connection for the America We Want. Ms. Lappe will be speaking at our Conference, and will joining us on our call with you and American Promise members around the country on March 28. Register for the call to learn how powerful we really can be-- and will be with Citizen Lobby Day-- to make sure our political system serves all Americans, not the money of a few big donors.

We’ll also hear from American Promise Association leaders Laura Knipmeyer and Joan Divor. Both are leaders of American Promise Associations, and are following Ms. Lappe’s inspiration of how to overcome our feelings of powerlessness and channel anger and frustration into action to win the 28th Amendment and a strong American republic of the people.
