HBS Association Civic Engagement Series - San Francisco, CA

Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Northern California is hosting this event to encourage "learning more about our civic institutions and how we can have a positive impact on them" as a part of their Civic Engagement Series. Join Jeff Clements, John Wass, and Elizabeth Doty for a session about the necessity of the 28th Amendment, as well as the process and their strategy for passing the amendment. Jeff Clements is Founder and President of American Promise and author of Corporations Are Not People: Reclaiming Democracy from Big Money & Global Corporations.

 

John Wass, Chairman & Cofounder of American Promise, is a corporate executive and entrepreneur who helped develop Staples’ $10b global supply chain, and built a state-of-the-art healthcare information company, which he sold to Cardinal Healthcare. He now serves as CEO of Profit Isle, Inc.

 

Elizabeth Doty is a consultant, facilitator and author who writes regularly for strategy + business magazine on topics related to leadership and values. She and several colleagues (including three HBS alums) have recently formed the American Promise Business Council of the Bay Area.
