Missouri State Pledge

I join the overwhelming majority of Missouri to demand an amendment to the United States Constitution to end the domination of big money in politics and give voice to all Americans.
I will stand with Missouri, without regard to party or other differences, and urge all candidates and elected officials to do the same, in order to pass and ratify such a constitutional amendment as soon as possible.

American Promise
Millions of people in states around the country have seen their elections dominated by big money from outside sources. And this spending has real consequences. Following the $14 billion 2020 election cycle, a wave of restrictive voting laws have cropped up in state legislatures. Voter restrictions and unlimited political spending combined further relegate political influence to wealthy elites while diminishing the power the rest of us hold.

Volunteer

Volunteering makes American Promise possible in Missouri.

Across the nation, American Promise volunteers do the meaningful grassroots organizing work that drives our successful strategy, making a better future for us all. We offer resources and support to empower a nationwide network dedicated to ensuring every American has an equal voice in the decisions that affect our lives.

Volunteer opportunities include everything from talking with neighbors and colleagues to writing letters to the editor and gathering pledges from elected officials. No matter your skills or interests, you can meaningfully contribute to this critical work.
